Dahab Blue Lagoon
A shallow, wind-sheltered lagoon about 10km north of Dahab town on Egypt's Sinai coast, backed by dramatic desert mountains dropping straight to the Red Sea. Roughly 270 windy days a year and clear, knee-to-hip-deep flat water have made it one of the region's premier freestyle and progression spots, with a cluster of kite schools running private beach sections along the shore.

Monthly wind statistics
Station: Dhahab (Dahab) (Weatherspark, ~12.7 km) — Blue Lagoon is a bay ~13 km NNE of Dahab town/city center; station represents Dahab town-area averages, thermal channeling in the lagoon itself may differ. Weatherspark reports average wind speed (converted to knots here), not Windfinder's probability-of->=4-Bft metric; windfinder.com/windstatistics pages for this station render their monthly table via JavaScript and returned no data through automated fetch, so prob_ge_4bft_pct is left null. windfinder.com/windstatistics/dahab also exists but its table is JS-rendered and was not retrievable.
