The quieter southern continuation of Diani Beach, Galu shares the same reef-protected lagoon and monsoon wind pattern but sees far fewer kites - the base for H2O-Extreme, run from the Blue Marlin Beach Hotel.

Galu Beach is a few km south of Diani on the same stretch of coast; reused the same Mombasa station (~33 km N) since no closer WeatherSpark point exists and conditions should be near-identical to Diani.
