Knokke-Heist
Knokke-Heist is Belgium's best-known and most upscale seaside resort, on the North Sea coast near the Dutch border, with a long beach promenade and several dedicated watersports clubs (VVW Heist/ANEMOS, RBSC at Duinbergen and Zoute, Lakeside Paradise, Surfers Paradise, RiverWoods Channel Club). The adjoining Zwin nature reserve constrains part of the shoreline, so kiting is concentrated on the town's main beaches.
