You wade a long way out from the Los Narejos beach before it reaches chest depth, which is exactly why the schools teach here and why families use the same water. Rider tips
- Check the Los Narejos and Los Alcazares forecasts and message Club Kitesurf Mar Menor, based here, before you drive; the spot is often under powered twin-tip strength.
- Treat it as an afternoon spot: almost all the rideable wind sits between 12:00 and 18:00, and March is the single most reliable month.
- Bring light-wind equipment or a foil plan; a 9-12 m travel quiver misses many marginal days.
- Ask Aloha Center or Spinosa Center which direction is cleanest at the launch that day, because both an SSW thermal and NE/E flow turn up here.
- In bathing season, launch from the signed nautical zone and never through swimmers.
- Wear booties if shells, stones or a soft bottom bother you.

Airport
Region de Murcia International / Corvera (RMU) is the nearest airport; Alicante-Elche (ALC) is a larger alternative.
Route
By road, reach Los Alcazares and Los Narejos on the AP-7, the N-332 or the local RM-F34; the launch is a short walk from the urban beachfront. A rental car is the practical way to check the other Mar Menor and La Manga spots.
Transfer
About 25-35 minutes by private transfer from RMU to Los Alcazares in 2026 transfer listings; Alicante is roughly 55-65 minutes by private transfer and longer by public transport.
