Jastarnia
Jastarnia rides on the Puck Bay side of the Hel Peninsula, not on the open Baltic, and that is the whole point: as of 2026 the water around the sandbar runs about 0.5-1.5 m deep, flat and sandy, with no tide to speak of, so a beginner stands up between attempts instead of swimming back.
Hel
Hel is the town at the tip of the Hel Peninsula, the spit that closes Puck Bay off from the open Baltic.
Rewa
Rewa is a village on the mainland side of Puck Bay, built around Cypel Rewski, the long sand spit locals also call Szperk.
