Empuriabrava (Platja de la Rubina)
A sandy beach just north of Empuriabrava, Europe's largest residential marina, and bordered by the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà natural park wetlands. Three official kite zones are marked out on the beach, and the summer thermal wind is a reliable side-onshore Garbí, making it a solid, well-organized companion spot to nearby Sant Pere Pescador in the Golf de Roses.

Station: Roses (weatherspark.com (MERRA-2 reanalysis), ~4.3 km) — Roses is ~4 km around the Gulf of Roses bay from Empuriabrava; both are exposed to the Tramontana (N) wind of the Gulf of Roses, so this should be a good proxy. windfinder.com returned HTTP 429 (rate-limited/blocked) on every attempt during this run, so no windfinder windstatistics page could be fetched; used Weather Spark (MERRA-2 reanalysis, 1980-2016) as fallback.
