Lady's Mile Beach

A long (around 5km), spacious sand-and-shingle beach on the Akrotiri peninsula south of Limassol, regarded as one of the best and windiest beaches near the city. It mixes flat sections with wave-riding conditions when the wind is strong, and hosts several IKO-affiliated kite schools including Blue Tent Kitesurfing, Kitehouse Cyprus and WAK - We Are Kitesurfing.

season notes	Meltemi-driven westerlies dominate June-August (several days a week at 15-25 knots); a dependable afternoon sea breeze (12-20 knots, roughly 11:00-18:00) fills in even outside the main Meltemi window; September combines strong wind consistency with thinner crowds. Winter brings a colder NE Tramontana that can exceed 30 knots, and the occasional Sirocco (African wind, poor visibility) is considered unsuitable for kiting.
