Lagoa de Albufeira

A sheltered coastal lagoon about 45 minutes south of Lisbon near Sesimbra, with flat inside water and slight chop on the ocean-facing side. Popular with freestylers and foilers thanks to reliable afternoon Nortada wind and a mellow, uncrowded local vibe; long known as a training base for pro riders.
