Torbole
Sitting where Lake Garda meets the Sarca valley on the Trentino shore, Torbole is one of the sport's historic proving grounds - Circolo Surf Torbole has hosted three windsurfing world championships (1988, 1992, 2006) - and today it is thoroughly built out for kitesurfing with multiple rental and lesson centers. Like Malcesine across the lake, it runs on the twin Ora/Peler thermal system, though kiting here is time-restricted in high season to share space with swimmers, sailors and windsurfers.

Monthly wind statistics
Station: Torbole sul Garda (weatherspark modelled climatology) (Weatherspark (NASA/NOAA MERRA-2 reanalysis-based model climatology, not a physical anemometer), ~0 km) — Windfinder confirms a station once existed at Torbole but is offline; only a coarse annual figure is published (avg 7 kt from SSW, Jan-Nov 2003 sample only), no monthly table. Windfinder itself points to Riva del Garda (4.6 km) as the nearest live station, but Riva del Garda's Windfinder statistics page was unreachable this session (persistent HTTP 429 rate-limit from windfinder.com after the first several requests). Used Weatherspark's Torbole sul Garda-specific modelled climatology instead — reanalysis/model-based, not a physical anemometer, exact base years not stated on the fetched page, and a 24h/365-day average that will understate the Ora thermal wind's real afternoon strength. No Beaufort-probability or water-temperature data published; left null rather than invented.

Hazards
- very high traffic of sailors/windsurfers/kiters sharing limited water space in season
- time-restricted kite windows in peak summer
Rules
- kiting is time-restricted during the busy season to manage the shared space with swimmers, sailing schools and windsurfers - check with local schools for current launch/kiting hours
Tips
- book lessons/rentals through the established centers, which also know the current kiting time-window rules
