Kitesurfing in Lombardy
14 spots · 3 destinations · 30 schools
The same southerly Breva runs all three Alto Lario spots here, but it rewards different skill levels: Colico's grassy pratone and shallow pebble entry make it the walk-back option Boarderline calls suitable for anyone, while Domaso and Gera Lario, both nearer the Mera mouth, lean on boat and lift support because their shore launches want autonomous riders.
Lombardy holds 14 kitesurf spots in our atlas, grouped into 3 destinations. Riding here is mostly flat water. Something is rideable here in every month of the year. 7 of them suits beginners. 30 schools operate in the region. The busiest areas are Lake Garda, Lake Como and Lago Maggiore.
