Kitesurfing in Pomeranian Voivodeship
10 spots · 3 destinations · 28 schools
Ten spots, and the useful ones sit on sheltered water.
Six of them work Puck Bay. Chałupy, Kuźnica, Jastarnia and Hel line the peninsula; Puck and Rewa face them from the mainland, over shallow sand with no tide worth the name. Jastarnia's sandbar runs 0.5-1.5 m deep, which is why the schools live there. Down on the Vistula Spit, Krynica Morska and Kąty Rybackie repeat the same lagoon-versus-sea split. Sopot kites an urban Gdańsk Bay beach where you plan the whole session around the pier, and Żarnowska trades salt water for Lake Łebsko, waist-deep off a meadow you rig on.
Pomeranian Voivodeship holds 10 kitesurf spots in our atlas, grouped into 3 destinations. Riding here is mostly lagoons and flat water. The season runs March to October.
9 of them suits beginners. 28 schools operate in the region. The busiest areas are Hel Peninsula - Chałupy, Hel Peninsula - Jastarnia and Mierzeja Wiślana (Vistula Spit).

Żarnowska (Łebsko Lake)Baltic lagoons - Łeba2014Słowiński National Park Director's Regulation No. 27 (2014) bans kiteboarding on Lake Łebsko outright while still permitting sailing, windsurfing and kayaking, the outcome of years of conflict between kitesurfers and ecologists over bird-nesting habitat in the shallow shore zone riders launch from. Żarnowska has nonetheless kept being treated as a normal, rideable spot, with a school working the area.
