Nida

Nida is a resort village on the Curonian Spit, the westernmost settlement in Lithuania and the Baltic states, sitting between the Curonian Lagoon and open Baltic Sea. Its Baltic-facing beach is a bit off the beaten path with a wide, uncrowded sandy shore, but the choppy, irregular open-sea water makes it more of an intermediate/advanced spot than a lesson venue.

Monthly wind statistics

Station: Nida, Lithuania (Weather Spark, ~0 km) — Station is Nida itself. Windfinder has forecast pages for Nida but no windstatistics table (confirmed via fetch of nearby windfinder pages returning JS-only content / 'no statistic data available' messages generally across this region). Weather Spark provides average wind speed (not Beaufort-probability), so prob_ge_4bft_pct left null. Dominant direction: W for Jan-Oct and Dec, S for Nov, per source's stated date ranges. As with Ventė, raw average speed peaks in the cold months (Nov-Feb); this is not necessarily the best kiting window - cross-check with local kite center info for thermal/summer conditions.
