Praia do Preá
Praia do Preá is Cruz municipality's only beach and sits about 10 minutes from Jericoacoara; it is also home to the region's Jericoacoara Regional Airport. Once a purely fishing community, Preá has become one of Ceará's most respected kite venues for its strong, choppy, bump-and-jump conditions - the terrain that has drawn GKA World Tour competition and made it a favorite of advanced and professional riders rather than beginners.

Monthly wind statistics
Station: Cruz, Ceará (weatherspark modeled climatology; nearest windfinder-referenced station is Comandante Ariston Pessoa Airport ~20 km away) (Weatherspark (Cedar Lake Ventures, MERRA-2 reanalysis-modeled climatology), ~20 km) — No windfinder statistics table exists for Preá itself (only a forecast page). Preá sits a few km west of Jericoacoara town, so the same regional reference (Cruz municipality / airport area, ~15-20 km away) is used as for Jericoacoara. Modeled climatology, not a measured Beaufort probability at the spot.
