Official public beach north of Roja harbour's north mole: sand, maintained, with boardwalk access, parking by Ostas Street, toilets and changing facilities, and a cafe in summer.

Rider tips
- Check the forecast before you drive; forecast pages for Roja exist, but nobody publishes wind statistics for the spot itself.
- Ride the northerly onshore and cross-onshore setups unless a local tells you E or ESE is safe near the harbour.
- Stay well clear of the north mole and the port traffic at the southern end of the beach.
- From June to August launch away from the marked bathing zone; the only published rule is that kiteboarding happens in allowed places at sea.
- Bring cold-water neoprene outside midsummer. February water averages around 1 C and August only about 18 C.
- Leave the dog at home during the May-October swimming season, and keep vehicles off the beach and dunes.
- Published wind directions for Roja do not agree with each other — W and NW in one place, N through ESE in another — so ask a local rider before you drive out on a forecast.
- Nobody is watching this water. Ride with someone, and keep a waterproof phone on you: 112 is the number.
