El Gouna Lagoon

A 2-3km private, flat, waist-deep lagoon protected by a coral reef in the purpose-built resort town of El Gouna, widely rated Egypt's easiest all-round kite destination. Consistent desert thermal wind, zoned beginner/independent/foil riding areas and a dense cluster of schools (15+) make it a favorite for first-timers, families and mixed-ability groups.

Monthly wind statistics

Station: El Gouna (Weatherspark, ~1.5 km) — Station is El Gouna town-wide average, essentially at the spot. Weatherspark reports average wind speed (converted to knots here), not Windfinder's probability-of->=4-Bft metric; windfinder.com/windstatistics pages for this station render their monthly table via JavaScript and returned no data through automated fetch, so prob_ge_4bft_pct is left null. windfinder.com/windstatistics/el_gouna exists (data for 'El Gouna Kiteboarding Club', ~20 yrs of observations per page metadata) but its monthly table is JS-rendered and was not retrievable via automated fetch.
