Punta Paloma

Punta Paloma is a broad Atlantic-facing beach and headland at the western end of Valdevaqueros beach, backed by a large dune system near Tarifa. Its wide sandy launch and long fetch make it one of the most popular kite beaches in the area, drawing freestyle and trick riders as well as beginner schools, though it gets crowded on good days.

Monthly wind statistics

Station: Tarifa town (Weatherspark (NASA MERRA-2 reanalysis, 1980-2016), ~9.4 km) — windfinder.com unreachable (429 all session). Same Tarifa town model, ~9.4km away (Punta Paloma sits further NW along the same wind corridor toward Los Lances/Valdevaqueros). Same caveat as Los Lances: raw reanalysis average is winter-storm-dominated and understates the Venturi effect; trust known_best_months (Apr-Sep) from the batch input.
