Hvide Sande Molen
Hvide Sande sits on the narrow Holmsland Klit isthmus where a canal and lock connect the large, shallow Ringkøbing Fjord lagoon to the open North Sea. The Molen (jetty/breakwater) spot is on the North Sea side of this inlet, exposed to real ocean waves and swell, making it a challenging spot for intermediate to advanced riders rather than beginners. Windfinder ranks the broader Hvide Sande area as Denmark's #1 and the world's #20 most-visited wind-sport spot.
