Kitesurfing in Valencian Community

18 spots · 6 destinations · 20 schools

Valencia's coast is built around the summer Garbi/Llebeig thermal — the wind that fills Playa del Pollo at Cullera, Oliva Nova and the boat-taught school zone at Playa de Motilla from June through August.

Calpe's Arenal-Bol breaks the pattern: the municipality itself classifies it as high difficulty and bans lessons there outright. Playa del Saler flips the calendar entirely, working only as a north-storm wave spot from October to March, and Gurugu at Castellón has hosted Formula Kite race events.

Valencian Community holds 18 kitesurf spots in our atlas, grouped into 6 destinations. Riding here is mostly flat water and chop. Something is rideable here in every month of the year.

10 of them suits beginners. 20 schools operate in the region. The busiest areas are Mar Menor, Oliva and Denia.
